TOPIC: Joint Ventures – Leveraging Other Businesses Assets
KLAV 1230 AM – “The Talk of Las Vegas”
Thursday, 8:00 p.m. est/5:00 p.m. pst
Willie Crawford was raised on a tobacco farm in North Carolina, living off welfare most of his youth. His family was so poor that he once wore his grandmother’s shoe to school while working to earn money to replace his only dilapidated pair. This built a burning desire in Willie to break away from the poverty and build his own business.
Willie worked his way through college, then joined the Air Force where he traveled to 47 different countries while serving as a navigator on C-130 transport aircraft. During that time, Willie also learned “a little” of five different languages.
In 1996, while still serving in the Air Force in Hawaii, Willie decided to start his own internet-based business. By the time he retired in 2003, Willie had built that into a 6-figure part-time income.
Willie is now one of the world’s leading internet marketing experts, having spoken at dozens of seminars in the United States, Malaysia, Singapore and the U.K.
Willie has created dozens of information products, written over 1100 articles and 34 ebooks on ecommerce. He’s hosted seminars, and now hosts his own radio show several times per week.
Willie has an incredible 1600 websites, some of which get over 1 million unique visitors per month.
Willie leverages his knowledge of online marketing, and the connections that he’s developed over the years to help others launch products. Willie often serves as a middleman or a joint venture broker. He’s also Executive Director of The International Association of Joint Venture Brokers, and co-founder of The JV University at http://TheJVUniversity.com
Willie has written several books including a bestselling soul food cookbook (featured in The Soul Food Museum in Atlanta, Georgia), and an inspirational biography.
When Willie is not busy teaching ecommerce online via his membership site at The Internet Marketing Inner Circle, or teaching local businesses to use the internet to drive more business through their doors, he enjoys deep sea fishing in The Gulf of Mexico… not too far from his Florida home.

Darnell Brown

Raven talks to Darnell about :
- Creativity
- Affordability
- Turnaround-Time
- Services
Darnell Brown is a young expert graphic/web designer that has been drawing and sketching for nearly 20 years. He vividly remembers the first time he laid pencil to paper, which was during his first home video viewing of the original “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” movie. He then went on to win his first award for “Best Drawing” for a lion design he drew with crayon in Kindergarten. Since that time, he went on studying Art as a class in every single grade level through high school, winning various awards such as “Best Design” for School Spirit t-shirts in the 6th grade and “2nd Place Design Theme” for a Veteran’s Day festival in 1997.
Darnell graduated high school in 2002 and went on to pursue Graphic Design as his major at King’s College later that year. Spending 25 hours per week studying at college coerced him to compress 2 years worth of learning into 16 months while also maintaining a cumulative Dean’s List of Excellence and juggling a part-time job. His studies there included programs such as: Typography I & II, Design and Color, Electronic Layout and Design, Web Development with HTML, and Web Design. Upon graduating in December 2003, he landed his first full-time occupation at an advertising firm in April 2004. After working there for 4 years, Darnell’s entrepreneurial spirit led him to creating Blucanvis Designs, his own freelance design firm and after 1 full year of being self-employed, Darnell is keeping the phones ringing, the emails traveling and clients happy! He continues to apply his ambitions and creativity, earning numerous compliments for cutting-edge designs backed by super-fast turnaround time.
