Annie is a recovering. . .executive! In 2005, she stepped down from her position as President / CEO in a company she had been with for 16 years, to start her own.

And the world of business is not where her interest started. A “right brainer” by natural preference there is nothing she enjoys more than being creative and expressing that through the arts; generating / exploring big ideas; working creatively with others; playing and having fun!

Growing up, she soon discovered that this inclination met with a certain amount of resistance from the world at large — which placed a pretty strong emphasis on more “left brain” qualities.  She had an experience all too common for “right brainers” — feeling like a round peg attempting to fit perfectly into a square hole.

Learning to bridge the “right brain – left brain” gap has secured Annie’s success. In 2005, U.S. Senator Kent Conrad named her the very first Marketplace Entrepreneur of the Year. When presenting the award, he stated, “Annie is a true entrepreneur in every sense of the word. She is excited, driven and most importantly, has true entrepreneurial spirit that can turn a good idea into a reality.”
